Abstract

Tunable, narrowband (< .3 cm−1) coherent radiation below 100 nm will be reported. The vacuum ultraviolet photons were generated by making use of the first available two-photon resonance in Krypton [the 4p6 1S0 - 5p(2-1/2)2 two photon resonance at 216.7 nm] to resonantly enhance the process.
