Broadband Optical Nonlinear Refraction of Atomically thin Layered Gallium Telluride

Abstract

We performed close aperture Z-scan measurements in femtosecond regime in the spectral range 520-700 nm to study the broadband nonlinear refraction of exfoliated atomically thin 2D gallium telluride. It shows high negative nonlinear refraction coefficients.
