Abstract

We induce Shapiro resonances in exciton-polariton Josephson junctions via self-induced GHz mechanical vibrations. Interplay of polaritons and confined vibrations enables periodic modulation of tunneling in coupled polariton condensates. This is akin to the effect of radiofrequencies in superconducting Josephson junctions.
