X-ray dose and spectrum measurements with a novel X-ray detector for potential hazards of laser-matter interaction

Abstract

A broad range of ultrashort laser-matter processing can potentially lead to hazardous X-ray emission. By employing a novel calibrated X-ray detector, we study the dose rate and spectral emission with respect to different laser parameters.
