Abstract

A radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) based nonlinear equalizer is performed in a 25Gbaud DP-128QAM 10km transmission self-homodyne detection system. A performance gain of 1dB at FEC threshold 1.1e-2 is experimentally demonstrated.
