Abstract

The central problem of creation of optical digital processing information systems is a building of bistabile optical elements which carry out logical, switching functions. One of the directions of the solution for this problem is based on the use of acoustooptic (AO) interaction. In this paper it has been suggested different variants of a building of the feedback circuit in which sygnal of photodetector controls the acoustic waves, frequency in the cell. Assumed parameters of multistabile systems may be essentially changed owing to gyrotropy of crystal. Therefore the problem of study of the influence of the latter on AO interaction in the presence of optoelectronic feedback with the help of which one may control the frequency of acoustic sygnal is actual and it has been considered in the present paper.
