Production and characterization of thin carbon films on cobalt buffer-layer by the sputtering technique

Abstract

Carbon thin films were produced by sputtering technique on Co buffer-layer prepared at 500°C, and thermal annealed after the deposition. Raman results are presented, and normalized transmittance measurements showed potential for applications on optical limiters.
