Split Step Fourier for Propagation of Beams in Free Space and Non-Linear Materials

Abstract

The Split Step Fourier (SSF) method is used to propagate Gaussian beams in media with nonlinear properties. The method is validated by comparing the results between the analytical solution and the SSF for low powers.
