Different Optical Intrinsic Cortical Signals in NIR versus Visible light in response to peripheral stimulation in Mice

Abstract

We compared the intrinsic optical signals in NIR and visible spectrum, and extrinsic neuronal voltage signals in wide-field-imaging during hindpaw stimulation in mice, and findings suggest that the NIR may have a different signal substrate.
