Abstract

Recently the research and development of optical parametric oscillator (OPO) were great promoted because of the progress of optical materials and laser techniques. We reported the operating characteristics of temperature tuned OPO pumped by a pulse in MgO:LiNbO3 /1, 2/. Some experimental results could be explained by the solutions of the coupled wave equations with stable pump. New theoretical methods in studying pulse-pumped OPO were established by some scholars /3, 4/.
