Optical Nonlinearity in 2D Semiconductors

Abstract

Second order nonlinearity dispersion data for 2D-materials (WSe2, WS2) are presented within a broad wavelength range. Spectral features indicate the impact of the near bandgap excitons with the single sheet nonlinearity values χ(2) ~2.1-16.2×10-19 m2/V.
