Abstract
Andreev et al.1 have shown that Brillouin-enhanced four-wave mixing can be used to achieve phase conjugation with high reflectivities (~106). In this paper we develop a theoretical model which effectively describes the four-wave mixing process and compare the results of this model with the experimental results we have obtained.
