Numerical properties of a model atom for multiphoton ionization studies

Abstract

We have used a 1-D model atom for a wide range of numerical studies of multi-photon ionization and harmonic generation.1 The model is defined by a very simple one-electron binding potential V(x)=11+x2, but its detailed structural properties are not available in the literature.
