Abstract
Direct solutions of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation, for an electron moving in three spatial dimensions (3D), bound initially (t≦0) by a Coulomb potential, and acted upon by an extrinsic oscillating electric field, have been described in several recent publications1-3. The oscillating electric field models the effect of an incident laser beam on the initially bound electron.
