Abstract

We present the results of computer modeling of above threshold, multiphoton ionization of H, the hydrogen negative ion, by an intenser laser. This system provides an uncomplicated structure for the study of ionization since the extra electron has only one bound state. Experimental results have recently become available for this system.1
