Observation of vibronic quantum beats in semiconductor microcrystallites

Abstract

The transient absorption of excitons in PbS microcrystallites exhibits a terahertz-frequency damped sinusoidal response attributed to quantum beats between vibrational eiqenstates of the microcrystallite.
