Analysis and Suppression of the Polarization Noise in Depolarized I-FOG

Abstract

A polarized module of a new type depolarized interferometric fiber optic gyroscope is described by using Jones-matrix theory. Two depolarizers with 1.0% degree of polarization are used to reduce the output bias drift and improve the scale factor.
