Abstract

Detailed characterization of amplitude modulated harmonically mode locked (AM-HML) Er3+ fiber laser shows that this method provides the stabilized operation and a precise control of its lasing spectral bandwidth which, in turn, can control the nonlinear effects in single mode optical fibers.
