Abstract

We present the dynamic properties of an optical hybrid module integrated using a passive alignment technique, which is promising for lowering module cost. The performance as a transmitter/receiver for access networks is demonstrated. The minimum optical received power of -37 dBm was achieved for 50 Mb/s burst signal.
