Low Drive-Voltage Tunable Filter Using Thermo-Optical Effect

Abstract

A 10 nm tuning was obtained with 2.47 V for a low-sidelobe tunable filter in X-cut LiNbO3; using the thermo-optical effect. This value is one hundred times smaller than that of an electrically tuned EOTF.
