Abstract

Minimizing the guard time in the TCM scheme is essential in maximizing TCM transmission efficiency. This paper proposes a statistical approach with reflections as a replacement for the commonly adopted worst-case approach to TCM system design, and makes clear the relationship between reflections and transmission parameters in the PDS system.
