Abstract

Single-mode distributed feedback (DFB) lasers operating at high output power and over a wide temperature range are desirable as light sources in advanced optical transmission systems such as long-haul transmission and multidistribution. Complex-coupled (CC) and gain-coupled (GC) DFB lasers satisfy these requirements due to their high single-mode selectivity.1-4
