Abstract

We report the first successful field trial of up to 3Tb/s real-time DP – 16QAM superchannel over 359km EDFA-amplified, fully managed flexible grid infrastructure using production grade hardware and software, achieving net spectral efficiency of 5.97bit/s/Hz.
