25G+ Distance-Adaptive Visible Light Communications Enabled by Entropy Loading

Abstract

Using probabilistic shaping together with multi-carrier modulation and entropy loading, we experimentally demonstrate a distance-adaptive RGB-VLC system operating with diffuse white light and supporting record-high bit rates of 26-46 Gbit/s over 50-200 cm.
