Abstract

Computer generated holograms¹ (CGH) are very useful to test aspherical lenses or mirrors. Accurately drawn CGH's are required to test precisely. J.C. Wyant et al presented an interferometric method² that can measure plotting errors of equispace straight lines or dots in CGH's. In the interferometric method, an original pattern drawn by the plotter has to be reduced to a small photo-film. The measured plotting error must then include an error caused by a photo lens aberration.
