Multi-dielectric structured components for giant optical field enhancement: an optimization process

Abstract

Multidielectric coatings are designed to reach total absorption and maximum field amplification at resonances. The design method is analytic, numerical results are given. Comparison with plasmons is detailed. Scattering behavior is investigated for amplification measurement.
