Non-Destructive Gradient-Index Characterization for Laser-Induced GRIN Profile in the infrared band (IR)

Abstract

Laser-induced GRIN samples are characterized in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer based on a two-object model. The relative shift between the GRIN profile and fiducial is used to measure the index of refraction along the optical axis.
