Abstract

In 1984, the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales of France and the National Research Council of Canada agreed to collaborate in providing a Wind Imaging Interferometer (WINDII) for NASA’s Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, planned for launch in late 1991. A description of the mission is given by Reber in these proceedings.
