Nearly Perfect Optical Absorption due to Random Nano Structures

Abstract

We demonstrate that random non-prefabricated nanostructures act as prefect metamaterial absorbers. The absorbers are in simplified architectures fabricated by vapor deposition, without the need for extra lithographical and prefabrication processes.
