Temporal Coherence of a Broadband Fiber Laser Studied Using a Mach-Zehnder Interferometer

Abstract

The temporal coherence of a narrow line filtered from a CW broadband fiber laser is measured using an interferometer. The visibility is compared with that due to a DFB laser and two other broadband sources.
