Pre- and Post-Radiation Therapy Assessment of Tissue Oxygenation Changes in Breast Cancer Subjects

Abstract

Baseline tissue oxygenation before radiation therapy (RT) has an impact on the severity of radiation dermatitis during RT in breast cancer subjects. These oxygenation changes recover slower than visual changes observed 1-month post RT.
