Reporting Ethical Concerns

Ethical concerns are generally reported to and investigated by a journal’s editor and/or publisher in the first instance. 

Optica Publishing Group also has an Editorial Ethics Subcommittee that reports to the Board of Editors and oversees the investigation of more complex ethical violations. The Subcommittee can be reached vie email at ethics@optica.org.

Our journals are also members of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follow its best practice guidelines for addressing ethical concerns.
