Abstract
This paper discusses the process of photodecay of fluorescein as it
electrophoretically moves in a thin quartz capillary under the action of laser
radiation. It is shown that the photodecay of dyes reduces the measurement sensitivity
and imposes a limitation on the power of the exciting radiation.
