Abstract
Satisfying the fast turn-on time and high sensitivity requirements, photorefractive multiple quantum well (MQW) devices have become the candidate for real-time holographic applications. Recently space-time conversion and optical image correlation have been successfully demonstrated.1-3 These devices use quantum-confined stark effect (QCSE) to create large index and absorption changes.
