Copper-Catalyzed Low-Voltage Cathodic Electroluminescence at Anodized Aluminium Electrode

Abstract

Electroluminescence is observed at several semiconductor-electrolyte interfaces during the reduction of hydrogen peroxide, persulphate and oxygen.1-3 This luminescence is presumably caused by the electron-hole recombination in a semiconductor.
