Abstract

Contrast Modulated Steady State VEPs (CMSS-VEP) were introduced by Orban and Orban in 1984. Computer-aided on-line sampling and off-line analysis has been developed. The actual sampling time is reduced to 22 minutes and the total time required for the complete test is about 45 minutes. This technique is presently applied to several patient groups in the Department of Ophthalmology, K.U.Leuven (Belgium).
