Abstract

The investigation of optical soliton propagation in optical fiber waveguides attracts much attention due to the possibility to create high bit rate optical fiber communication systems (OFCS) as well due to the opportunity to work out varios elements of optical computers, sensors etc. on the basis of the transfer of information by solitons /1,2/. New opportunities open investigations of nonlinear process in coupled fibers. So in the case of stationary waves, as it shown in Mayer's papers (see for instance /3/), optical transistor and logical devices in the system of two coupled fibers can be created. Also such investigations help us to solve the problem of operation of the soliton parameters due to the coupling between fibers.
