Abstract

We modeled the MO channel in the presence of bloom, which is the thermal expansion or contraction of the written domains. We used the model developed to study the effect of bloom on the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of different detection schemes and established that bloom can cause a significant decrease in the SNR.
