Interface Modification of Atomic Layer Deposited Al-doped Zinc Oxide Thin Film Coated Cu2O Photocathodes

Abstract

Atomic layer deposited Al-doped ZnO (AZO) coatings are used to improve the charge transport in Cu2O photocathodes. Modified AZO containing Al in the bottom and top regions shows the best interface properties for photoelectrochemical cells.
