Abstract

During the past years, new techniques in non-linear spectroscopy have been developed; in particular, degenerate four-wave mixing has shown to be powerful in determining fundamental semiconductor parameters with high precision. Using this technique, we determine the diffusion coefficient D and the recombination lifetime T1 for the lowest exciton state An=1 and the first excited state in An=2 in CdSe the temperature range of 2–40 K.
