Abstract

In the development of new laser technologies and their applications, various optical coatings with the qualities of low loss, high damage threshold, broadness for wavelength, and waterproofness are required. In this paper, we discuss such high-quality optical coatings developed for low-gain lasers, tunable lasers, UV lasers, and frequency conversion, and their scaling.
