Abstract

Laser-induced damage (LID) of optical coatings is the most important reason limiting output power and energy of laser systems. Developing of manufacturing technology has resulted in increasing of LID thresholds by decreasing of absorbing microinclusions, so, problem of possible mechanisms of LID in low-absorbing materials has become important.
