Spatiotemporal Structures in Bistable Optical Schemes

Abstract

We present the results of theoretical analysis and computer simulations of field structures in passive bistable optical systems: increasing absorption devices. nonlinear cavities (interferometers), and two-beam nonlinear schemes. New opportunities for parallel optical processing are discussed.
