Abstract

Higher density recording is necessary for MO to be recognized as useful storage media. We can raise capacity over 8 times by means of green laser and magnetic super resolution . Minimum mark size will be 0.2 μm in this case. There should be two problems when we use green laser. One is smaller Kerr rotation of TbFeCo. The other is stability of magnetic domain of 0.2 μm.
