Conclusion

Like your manuscript’s title, abstract, and introduction, your conclusion should also make an impact on readers, editors, and reviewers.  After all, this is the last part of your study that they will see.

A good conclusion will restate the study’s hypothesis, highlight the key points of the work, explain why the work is important, and indicate how it contributes to the field.  You may find it challenging to differentiate between information that should appear in the discussion and the conclusion. One way to avoid this is to think of your conclusion as a summary of everything that you have said thus far so you can remind the reader what they have read.
